Our History

Since being purchased by the Geise family in 1986, the company has grown exponentially while setting a culture of excellence and reliability with our customers. 

1953

Ruben Dickman founded Dickman Industrial, an industrial mill supply house in Sidney, Ohio.

1975

Dickman Supply began building custom electrical assemblies to meet a growing customer need.

1986

Dickman Supply was purchased by Tim and Marla Geise.

1995

The custom assembly division was expanded to include wire harnesses and custom wire leads.

1996

Relocated Union City, IN store to Greenville, OH.

2001

Completed construction on new Greenville facility.

2001

To meet the growing needs of Dickman's northern customers, the Celina Branch was built. At the same time, the custom division was separated as a subsidiary of Dickman Supply and Electro Controls was born.

2008

Greenville completes 8,000 sq ft warehouse expansion.

2009

Dickman Supply launches the Green Energy Solutions Division (GES) to work with customers in meeting their green energy directives.

2014

Opening of new branch in Marysville, OH to serve Central Ohio market.

2017

Completed construction on new Marysville facility.

2019

Dickman Supply was taken over by Tim and Marla Geise's three sons, Chris, Kevin and Jason.
